These boots are not crafted very well. The detail leather has cuts that are sewn over and I believe I paid full price for seconds quality. whats worse they were almost $40.more than the last ones I got.

Satisfied with my Loredo's

I have been satisfied with these Loredo work boots...the size I ordered fit correctly and they were comfortable on the first wearing.



Initially I was disappointed when they arrived as the color of the boots were not the color I ordered....I inquired about it with the retail store who sold them to me via Amazon.com and was assured they'd exchange my boots for the color I wanted. But as I kept looking at the boots while talking on the phone to the sales person I realized that the darker brown boots I had in front of me were actually the best choice for all around wearing so I told the sales person to forget about the call that I was going to keep the boots I had.



I wear these boots working around horses and lots of dirt and manure...they're holding up well and are easy to clean off after the work day.



For my complete comfort these boots could have a bit more cushioning in the heal and foot-bed although I realize there's only so much room inside a boot for feet and cushioning.



All and all a good work boot with an authentic western look.More detail ...

So cute but not so comfortable

These shoes are absolutely adorable! I have them in Cognac and they are great with everything! The only thing is that they are not very comfortable. It feels like the slope of the shoes where your arch would be is too steep and it makes it very uncomfortable to wear. It fits pretty true to size. I have extremely small calves I have chicken legs so most boots make me look like I am swimming in them. Not so with these boots! I loved them. These are my first Old Gringo boots and they are truly spectacular! I adore western boots but until now I could not buy Old Gringo because of the price. I can see why they are so expensive as they are truly well-made with gorgeous embroidery. I would expect them to last a lifetime. I got them in the purple and they do fit true to size. However if you have a wide foot or want to wear them with socks you might want to go up a half size as they are not as roomy as some western boots. Also they are not as tall as some western boots which is fine with me but perhaps a really tall woman would like a taller boot.More detail ...

Runs small but really cute

I'm a true size 7.5 however since Aldo shoes don't sell half sizes I ordered a size up which is an 8. Thy just came in yesterday and I was disappointed to find out that it's a wee bit tight and that it doesn't have extra space in it. It fits me but there's no wiggle space for your foot. I am debating whether or not to get the next size which is size 9 but am scared to take the chance because that would be a big jump from my normal size 7.5 to a size 9 shoe. They really do run small but they are so darn cute. I love it nevertheless. Maybe they will stretch out. My mother in law got those shoes a couple of weeks ago too she's normally a size 6 but she ordered a size 7. Fits her well.More detail ...

They are very dark brown which is what I was looking for and the extra brogue details are noticeable. The arch support and comfort was far better than most of my boots; I can be on my feet all day in these. They are great for casual skirts and dresses and any pants/jeans.
